Exchange your empty propane tank for a Blue Rhino at your local Ace It's fast and convenient. We accept any standard propane tank as long as it is in acceptable condition (see store for details). As a preventative safety measure, propane tanks should be filled to a maximum of 80 percentage of their capacity. As a result, Blue Rhino fills their 20 lbs. tanks with 15 lbs. of propane. To ensure consumers are properly notified, Blue Rhino clearly marks the amount of propane contained in their tanks, right on the package.
