These torsion spring winding rods from Prime-Line are constructed from cold-rolled steel, offering the necessary strength and durability to maintenance your garage door torsion spring. They feature a 1/2 inch diameter and 16 inch length with a hard-drawn wire design. These winding rods are intended to be used to wind and unwind tension on torsion springs and are the only recommended tool for this job.
